Rochefort boasts a top-quality municipal campsite, offering a green setting on the outskirts of the town center.
Open from March to November, the campsite welcomes many curists, tourists, cyclists and hikers.

Rochefort: seven new service providers receive the Tourism and Disability label

There are 53 in the Rochefort Océan Conurbation Community.

The département boasts the highest levels of accessibility for all types of disability (motor, hearing, visual, mental), with 322 sites awarded the label.

Rochefort: this health visitor has been coming to the campsite for 36 years

Le Rayonnement campsite is always full in summer, and even turns people away. Its customers are loyal; two have just been honored, including a lady who has been coming since 1986.

kilometers away), but its entire history is linked to the navy. It was here, at
, that hundreds of ships were built until
1927! In the 17th century, the town’s distinctive layout, with its
checkerboard pattern of streets, met the definition of a “new
town”, designed entirely to accommodate the families of sailors and
arsenal workers.
